Tasty Food!

Third Graders had a blast a few weeks ago "cooking" their own special sandwiches! Great creations were made that day. Couldn't be any prouder of my little monkeys.

Popcorn!!

Second Graders had a salty afternoon last Friday. We did pop corn at school! Second Graders and I went to the kitchen to use the microwave. We saw and heard how popcorn is made and we learnt some new words: pop, white, soft, salty and little. We had a great time eating them while watching a short film!!

Paper Cooking. ROUND TWO

Remember when Third Graders cooked those paper sandwiches? Well, each group wrote all the ingredients down and presented their final sandwich in front of the whole class. Here you have some pictures of the action. They were really proud of their work and I'm proud too. 

Paper Cooking!

Third Graders had a blast cooking paper sandwiches last Friday. Early this week, they designed the sandwiches on paper, writing all the ingredients and elaborating a first doodle of it; everything was ready for the big cooking day! They worked in groups in order to create the greatest sandwich ever!

Tasty Food!

Third Graders had their first touch with the new unit's vocabulary last week. They had got three different cards with pictures of food in it. They had to chose one, describe its color, taste and texture; we worked with the foli rotatori dynamic. Then they present it in front of the whole class. 

We definitely need English dictionaries at the school... any donation?
