Running Friday

So... what do you do with 26 Sixth Graders on a Friday afternoon? RUN. In order to review the content for the upcoming exam, 6th Graders performed a Running Dictation. Something old but gold.

True competition here

Even the guy in crutches wanted to play!

While one team mate is reading the wall, the others are writing all the words down

Time Capsule

The rumor was extended... they liked the running dictation a lot! I had no choice, Fifth Graders asked for it and we played the game.

Time Capsule

The rumor was extended... they liked the running dictation a lot! It is something really cool to do with the children. They love it and they ask me for it very often. There was no way out... I had to do a running dictation with First Graders as well.

They had to write the words on this sheet

We used the floor as a table that day!

one last check...

They enjoyed it, so did I.

Time Capsule

A little throwback to Fourth Grader's first English lesson! We played some games in class an then we went out to the playground to test their language abilities with a (difficult) running dictation.

On one side of the playground they had the sentences

They must remember all the words they can...

...and then dictate them to the partner with the notebook and pen.

Everybody run, everybody write, everybody learn
