Boy and Girl

Three year olds dug deeply into the subject and played games to understand and see the difference between genders. They now understand who is a boy and who is a girl. It is so fun to shout "Girls go there" or "Boys do this" and see their understanding face while doing the action mentioned.

What am I?

We learned the genders with very young learners this past week. This seems easy, but it isn't! Girls knew they were girls and Boys knew they were boys. A really easy question to answer as an adult but a truly tricky one for very young learners!

To consolidate the learning, Girls painted a Girl Image and Boys colored a Boy Image. Later on, they switched papers and painted the other gender as well. They had big fun rolling and painting around the class floor! Aren't they cute?
