Tongue Twisters Day!

Third Graders worked on Tongue Twisters last week. We read some at class and then they looked for Tongue Twisters at home and then they read it aloud in class. I selected the best ones and now those are hanging on the classroom walls. It was such a fun scene to watch.

Riddle Day!

Fifth Graders discovered what a Riddle is last week! They looked for Riddles on the Internet and each student brought one (or two) to school to be read in class. We voted for the best ones, and the ones selected are now hanging in the classroom

Pictures to think

We had a very interesting Valors lesson this past week. Sixth Graders chose a picture at home and then presented it in front of the class. All the images were presented with a deep reflexion about the topic and all the students participated adding comments and thoughts. Here you have some pictures of it.

Mannequin Challenge

Third Graders heard about the Mannequin Challenges made in 5th and 6th... They wanted to perform their own. Thats what we did on yesterday's last 5 minutes. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

The Solar System

Fourth Graders were astronomers for a day. We looked up our Solar System and learnt all the planets that are in it... even Pluto was in it! Later on, each group designed and developed a Solar System that now is hanging on the wall. I'm pretty sure this is going to be an outer space unit.

Some did paper balls, some did a drawing!

They did the planets like in Minecraft, using squares!!

A little group discussion... all good tho.

Hard workers!

They colored the papers and then made balls with it!

Those happy faces pay all the work done

Team work!

Wild Animals!

Lleons and Lleones learnt about animals last week. We went out to the playground to do some TPR... you know how I like it. They had to act like the animals I said. Check it out!!

New Year's Resolutions

New year, new me they say... We started a new term today! The first lesson in all Primary was about the New Year's Resolutions. We discovered what a "Resolution" is and elaborated a list with all the good ideas to improve ourselves in this new year we all just began. Take a look at the pictures!

Mannequin Challenge

Learning a language isn't only repetitive structures nor tones of new words and vocabulary... The learner need to be immersed in the language's culture!
What's hot in the U.S.A. lately? The mannequin challenge, that's right! We did our very own MC with 5th and 6th Graders. We had a great time!

HALLOWEEN. Lost and Found.

Here you have a couple pictures from the Halloween days. The whole school got ready for that day elaborating pumpkin masks and drawing pictures to dress the classroom.
