MAPS. Found and released.

Third Graders did maps as well. In this case, each student took notes of the key language and then elaborated a group map with a route around the class and school.

They were posing... but check their enthusiasm. It's a team map, everybody writes!

MAPS. Found and released.

Second Graders elaborated their own maps as well. I placed the key vocabulary on the blackboard and gave each group two sheets of paper. One to take notes and the other to draw a first sketch of the final treasure map. They had a great time while doing it!

Do you remember "the map activity" we did at the beginning of the year? Well, I still have pictures of it on my phone. In this case, you'll see Fourth Graders developing their maps, counting the steps and elaborating the route. 

They really enjoy to work outside the class!

The Tresaure Map!

First Graders were really busy this past week elaborating their own Treasure Maps! We learned the directions and put the knowledge in practice using invented hunting maps. They had a great time doing them.
