Ferran's Training Plan

Fourth Graders spent two sessions to design a special Training Plan for me. They worked in groups and had the mission to choose some exercices and plan how many times per week or day I have to do it. They created very elaborated Training Plans! I'm really proud of them.

We found all the information needed on the textbook!

The groups looking very busy!

They really enjoy the foli rotatori routine

At the end, we hanged all the Training Plans and drawings up on the wall

Tasty Food!

Third Graders had their first touch with the new unit's vocabulary last week. They had got three different cards with pictures of food in it. They had to chose one, describe its color, taste and texture; we worked with the foli rotatori dynamic. Then they present it in front of the whole class

We definitely need English dictionaries at the school... any donation?

You can tell about their bitter taste! (I'm just playing)

This group chose Ice Cream!

He did a great drawing. Those Crisps looked real!

The Group Getters were allowed to stand up and take a closer view of the key language

They chose Biscuits... they really liked the "crunchy" adjective for the texture

The best way to learn english is to have fun with it

This group rehearsing the presentation

They represented biscuits

This group went for chocolate

This was de crisps team

You can tell by her face that their presentation was going pretty good

They chose vinegar

We spend the last five minutes observing and learning about a Globe brought to class by this gentleman

It had lights!

Choosing next summer's journey...

Yep!!!! That's North America!

Question Game!

Fifth Graders played a question game last week to improve their reading skills and to find out which team will design next week's game
For this first round, they were allowed to form the groups on their own. We all realized two things with this: yes, it is cool to have your friends in the group... but it is even cooler to have in it a classmate that knows English!
With the rotating sheet dynamic (foli rotatori) the groups wrote the questions and the right answer. We also used colored cards for the true/false questions! They only had one minute to do the whole thing... so they had to think quick!

Write fast, think faster!

The answer was TRUE, so green cards up!

Decisions, decisions!

These ladies insisted on taking a group pic...

This group took the game to another level
You see that blue fence? That means they are serious about it!

The blue fence again... nobody cheated at least

Group 3 will be designing next week's game!
