Fifth Graders played a question game last week to improve their reading skills and to find out which team will design next week's game!
For this first round, they were allowed to form the groups on their own. We all realized two things with this: yes, it is cool to have your friends in the group... but it is even cooler to have in it a classmate that knows English!
With the
rotating sheet dynamic (
foli rotatori) the groups wrote the questions and the right answer. We also used
colored cards for the
true/
false questions! They only had one minute to do the whole thing... so they had to
think quick!
